Well we voted and now we have the guv-ment we deserve.
Short to the point blog today. Here's a MacYipper quoting MacYapper, and then putting his own two yips in.

MAC-YIPPER SCOTT'S OWN YIP:

I couldn't agree with you more, although I could never really put my finger on the undercurrent of resentment towards those who chose to educate themselves. I experienced that as a young college grad in my small hometown up near Bradford, PA. At the time, the locals seemed almost gleeful when many college grads at the time were having trouble finding work and were forced to slink back to my hometown for some menial job. I just thought it was a small-town America resentment, but then again I should have seen it coming in the 'Burgh. In reality, Pittsburgh is a small city with small residents who are small-town minded(read "close-minded").

Mayor Opie is perfect for the masses. He's non-threatening and certainly doesn't challenge ANYONE intellectually. That being said, he'll be in office for a LONG time.
